Mr. Mathur has been involved in 18 power and energy deals with a combined deal size of $15.169 billion as a sponsor, lender, and/or advisor in his 30 years of project finance experience with Asea Brown Boveri limited (“ABB”), a global leader in power and automation technologies.

Mr. Mathur oversaw Indian operations on ABB’s Management Committee that managed its Indian operations with $1 billion in sales and 5,000 employees. He closed two of the first private power project deals in India and played a leading role in advising the Government of India on reforms for privatization.

Mr. Mathur also spent seven years at ABB’s worldwide headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland, where he helped establish and grow ABB’s project finance business to 140 professionals in 18 countries, closing $5 billion in financing each year.

Mr. Mathur oversaw investments in over 20 of the early independent power projects in the U.S. and was on ABB’s Management Committee responsible for approving equity in global projects.
